The uterus is about the size of a lemon
The uterus is an organ located in the center of a woman's body; it's like a sac made of elastic smooth muscle. It's usually about the size of a lemon, lies between the bladder and rectum, and is attached to the floor of the pelvis.
Two thumb-sized ovaries are connected to the left and right sides of the uterus by ligaments. The fallopian tubes carry eggs released from the ovaries to the uterus. The mucous membrane lining the uterus is called the endometrium. This endometrium thickens in accordance with the menstrual cycle, and if a fertilized egg does not implant in the uterus, it is shed and expelled through the vagina—this is menstruation. When you become pregnant, the uterus continues to expand, becoming a large sac containing the baby and amniotic fluid. After birth, the uterus returns to its original size.

The uterus is hanged within the pelvis by ligaments, making it very mobile.
To accommodate these changes, the uterus is fixed in the pelvis by ligaments, making it very mobile.
Therefore, even in everyday life, even a slight impact, such as standing for a long period of time or bumping your lower back or buttocks, can cause the uterus to drop or shift to the side. Especially, the position of uterus changes due to childbirth or aging.
With menopause, the uterus shrinks and contracts, however, it remains at the center of a woman's body and is thought to play an important role in maintaining the balance of her body.
Modern women's health problems are linked to the state of their uterus
In modern society, many women suffer from menstrual pain, irregular periods, sensitivity to cold, swelling in the legs, stiff shoulders, and lower back pain.
Many women also suffer from unpleasant physical symptoms specific to women, such as gynecological conditions like uterine fibroids and uterine prolapse, and menopausal symptoms.
These symptoms are thought to be closely related to an imbalance in the condition or position of the uterus.
