Does your uterus always stay in the same place?

The uterus isn't simply sitting in one fixed position.
It is supported by the pelvic floor, ligaments, fascia, and the tissues around it.
These tissues move and respond with us as we breathe, move and change posture.
Over time, things like childbirth, ageing and habitual posture can also affect where the uterus sits.
The uterus may tilt slightly to one side or sit a little lower.
Changes in its position can sometimes affect the tissues and organs around it which may be associated with things like menstrual pain, lower back pain or pelvic discomfort.
It can be helpful to support the body so that, even as it changes, it can naturally return to a more balanced position.
With Internal Core Alignment, I work with the muscles and fascia around the abdomen and pelvic area, as well as throughout the body.
I also use meridian and acupoint techniques related to women's health,
I check the position of the uterus together and include a gentle external uterine lift.
